Welcome to Alt Couch. My goal is to help you find the best couch available to you without the need to go to a furniture store.

I have been blogging about mattresses for 7 years and decided that it was time to put some energy into finding a nice couch for my living room.  I haven’t found the same disruption in the couch business as I have seen in the mattress industry. However, I’m willing to bet that things will change and that we will start seeing modular couches at affordable prices (like half of the current price in the next couple of years).
